The three of us boarded the VAustralia flight and took our seats in Premium Economy. We were quickly brought flutes of champagne and cheered the start of our flight with our awesome flight crew. After we were safely in the air, the beer started -a -flowing! I tried a VB- Victoria Bitters- local Aussie brew and it had a very light, crisp and refreshing taste. Dinner was served next, with another VB, and I had the Beef Stirfry. (I think this was about the time when I started talking in an Aussie accent- but none of the locals seemed to care.) It was warm and delicious, two things that were quite surprising for airline food. The flight was smooth, fun and allowed us plenty of sleep before our challenge began. Couldn’t have asked for better flight accomdations! Thanks VAustralia.
